At this point there is no way Levi is going to be able to come up. Your right Sis. Connie, I should be thankful that he isn't worse off. He's safe at home.
Levi, talked to Bro. Rusty this afternoon letting him know the situation. Right now, even Anchorage members won't be able to head to Bethel for the Youth Convention. Stand by traveling will be rough, because the flights are now so backed up. Everywhere......
It's hard to understand sometimes "Why now?" .........we serve such an amazing God though! I know He has a reason for it all. What a great comfort that is!!
Because, all the flights have been canceled the ticket counter has closed. There isn't a whole lot to do, but blog.....hence why there are now four post under one day........ ;)

Well, so far, only this morning's flight was canceled. This afternoon's and evening's flights came and went just fine. I thank God that He knows which way to let the winds blow and when. Even if we have to just trust Him, He knows what is best. I like to think that any and all of our plans should always be prefaced with "the Lord willing, we will ..."
ReplyDeleteThat isn't just for airline travel, but for all aspects of our lives. God has already let the jets come in and out of Bethel today, and if He wants us to have a gathering this weekend, He will keep at least one jet traveling. There is also the dance festival going on this weekend. Now we don't go there, but I know there will be quite a few groups traveling here for that. Will they be discouraged and/or put down? No. We have a bigger God than they do and a bigger cause.

P.S. Hey, wouldn't it be cool if someone or ones got stuck here for a few days or a week. Then we could finally have that revival that we have been hungering for. We want revival and no one wants to come and preach. But God knows all about that, too.
