Happy 2011!

I hope everyone had a wonderful New Years! We did. First we went out to dinner with Rusty and Jaclyn. Just the 4 us. =D Mom watched the kids. I soooooo wish I had gotten a picture, I had the camera....but I forgot.... =( Oh well...it was a blast!

Then we headed over to Mom and Dads. We played tooooonnnnnns of games. Drank tooooooons of sparkling cider, and ate some yummey food. We were sooooooo full from dinner that we had a hard time eating the snacks...it was super sad. It didn't stop me from trying though... ;)

Anchorage allowed fireworks to be let off by the general public this year. It was AWESOME. They were going off EVERYWHERE!! The air smelled toxic and there was a smokey haze around the whole town. But that's okay, it was a free show.

Oh! Yes. Another cool thing is it got up to 40 degrees here yesterday!!! It made standing outside watching the fireworks nice. Minus the toxic air part.

Oh ya....one more thing to share. My husband slept through the ENTIRE New Year's bash. All 5 hours of it. On the couch, with everyone around him loud, and laughing up a storm. Have you ever heard Bro. Rusty laugh!!??? ;)I tried my hardest to wake him up at midnight...HA!!It's nice to finally have someone to have to kiss the New Years in with. But the turd WOULD!!NOT!!WAKE UP!!!!!! No matter what I did to him. Like pinch his cheeks, wiggle his nose..... When he finally did wake up it was a good 30-40 min after midnight, the fireworks were all done, and people were walking out the door. So we got some quick pictures. haha...At leeeeeast he wore the silly hat for me. ;)
